Cleansing Prayers

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” -Genesis 1:1

“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all” -1 John 1:5”

“There is none holy like the Lord; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.” -1 Samuel 2:2 

Lord, you are light, you are perfect, you are Holy. You are the sovereign Creator; our only hope, the merciful God through whom anything is possible.There is none like you in heaven or on earth.You are the highest, you are the greatest, you are the Lord of all.

“For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” -Romans 3:23

“Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceived me.  Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones that you have broken rejoice.  Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities.  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” -Psalm 51:4-10

“He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but who so confesses and leaves them shall have mercy.” -Proverbs 28:13  

Lord, I have sinned against you, I have fallen short. I have sinned against others. Forgive me, Jesus for every sin I have committed both knowingly and unknowingly. Have mercy on me and my family. I plead the blood of Jesus against the pain of malice, hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness in my heart against anyone who has hurt me. Lord I choose to forgive them now, please help me Father as I don’t wish to keep this hatred anymore.  Forgive me for and release me from wrong motives, wrong attitudes, pride, bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, doubt, hatred, unbelief, and every issue that blocks the flow of peace and restoration in my heart and life in Jesus’ name.Turn my heart to obey you in all things. Fill me and help me defeat all unrighteousness in my mind, body, and soul. Save me from any bad habits including those I do not recognize. Heal me of every imperfection and sin that has interfered with my relationship with you and others.  Cleanse me by the blood of Jesus to be in right relationship with you always in Jesus name.

“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” -2 Corinthians 5:21

“And that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” -1 Corinthians 15:4  

Father God, thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and the sins of the world.Thank you for your great love and kindness towards me. Thank you for hearing me and the privilege to come to you anytime with my heart, my sins, and my requests. 

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” -Romans 10:9

 “How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” -Hebrews 9:14

 Oh God, I repent of every sin and error. Repair my being and recharge me by your Spirit. I need personal and family sanctification by the Blood of Jesus now, save me from sin! I submit myself in obedience to Your Word. Is there anything in me that needs to be changed? Lord, please show me if there is anything, I have done that may have influenced or caused the breakdown of my witness or any other relationships. Correct my ways Lord, illuminate every dark corner in my heart, life and relationships. Refresh me and my family with the sweet fragrance of the Spirit of God. Protect us against all foolishness and sin. Give me your wisdom in all matters of life and especially when relating to those who don’t know you, Lord. Grant me grace not to be bitter, resentful, stubborn, rebellious or proud towards you or others. Fill me with your supernatural patience, love, maturity and divine forgiveness to do what is right in all matters of my life. Order the way before me for your glory in Jesus’ name.

“Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” -Psalm 55:22

 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” -Philippians 4:6 

Thank you, Jesus, praise you, Jesus for the gift and power of prayer. You are so faithful, you are so good, to you be the glory!. I approach the Throne of God with confidence according to Hebrews 4:16 knowing that I would receive mercy and help in my time of need. Lord, have your way always in my life and family. Let Your Word have a free reign with full power in my life and family. Let the counsel of God prevail without hindrance and limitation. Help me pray fervently. Guard me from being weak in prayer, inconsistent, powerless or ineffective. Help me stay close to you while praying consistently on Your written Word. I desire the full manifestation of Your power in my life for it is written “Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Jeremiah 29:12. Lord, help me to focus and let every planned attack on my prayers by be silenced and let them lose their power of distraction over me in Jesus’ name. Fill me with your wisdom to excel in prayer and end well with a testimony that brings you glory. Help me not to give attention to news and rumors that are intended to weaken or interfere with my communication with you. Help me pray thoroughly with my whole being according to your will. Your promises are true and I put my trust in you as I pray your Word that gives life. May your Word manifest in my heart, my life, and my circumstances in Jesus’ name. I ask for your peace, love, and faithfulness in my home and family. Surround us with your wall of fire and hedge of thorns so that no weapon, confusion, scandal, immorality or misunderstanding can stand against us.  Let anything blocking my answers according to your will be rolled away forever. Your way leads to victory! Thank you for choosing me, my heart is strengthened in you. I’m ready to receive answers and solutions from the Holy Spirit of God in Jesus’ name.
