Infidelity Prayers

1) “And He answered and said to them, ‘Have you not read that He who made

them at the beginning “made them male and female,” and said, “For this reason a

man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall

become one flesh”? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore,

what God has joined together, let not man separate.” - Matthew 19:4-6

“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled,

for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”- Hebrews 13:4 Lord, you created marriage beautifully from the beginning in the Garden. You created us

in your image, painted a biblical covenant and had a plan from the beginning to bring

you glory through marriage. What a magnificent union you made Lord Jesus, one flesh

from two! Your original design for marriage was purity and honor because you are pure.

Thank you for loving us Lord with an undefiled love. Thank you too for imaging your love

for us through marriage.

2) “You shall not commit adultery” -Exodus 20:14

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I say to you

that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed

adultery with her in his heart.”- Matthew 5:27-28

“But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is

accomplished, it brings forth death.”- James 1:14-15 Lord my spouse is trapped in adultery, is hurting themselves and our family. Lust has taken their heart captive; they have been enticed and carried away in sin. Lord have mercy on me and forgive me for lusting in my own life in any way through my thinking or idolizing anything over you. I am a hurting and heart-broken because of the lack of honor in my marriage. I have done all I know to do and I cannot stop my spouse (mention their name) and this other person (mention their name if you know it) in this immorality, cheating and humiliation to our marriage. But Lord I know, that this trouble is little before you because you are “ …our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keeps covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before you (Nehemiah 9:32). Your Word says in Proverbs 21: 1 that, “ The King's heart is in the hand

of the LORD, and as the rivers of water: He turns it whichever way He will.” Lord, turn

our hearts to do Your will!

3) “But because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each

woman is to have her own husband.” - 1 Corinthians 7:2

“Therefore, let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. No

temptation has overtaken you, but such as is common to man; and God is

faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with

the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to

endure it.  Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry .” -1 Corinthians 10:12-14 Thank you for creating marriage for our good, for our sanctification and protection in this

life. Thank you for your faithfulness to us Lord when we have been so unfaithful to you.

Forgive me Father for being unfaithful to you in any way where I have put people,

places, and things before you Lord. Thank you for providing a way of escape from sin.

Thank you for the enduring strength you provide when I lean on you, Lord Jesus. Thank

You for Your Words in Psalm 20: 6 that You will hear me from Heaven with the saving

strength of your right hand. Thank you too that in John 14:14 that if I ask anything in

Your Name, I would be heard and helped.

4) “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?

Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor

effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor

revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you;

but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name

of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” -1 Corinthians 6:9-11

“Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does outside the body, but he who

commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.” -1 Corinthians 6:18

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put inside you: and I will

take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” -

Ezekiel 36:26 Father, I bring the concern of an affair between my spouse and this (other strange man, woman or evil spirit) to You. Lord, please end this confusion, this cheating, immorality and misunderstanding in our marriage by your Mighty Hand. Please bring justice

according to your divine original plan for marriage. Lord, speak to my spouse like

nobody can and draw them to yourself. Correct them in your mercy. They cannot

change apart from you or your tug. Save me from the uncaring treatment, the rejection

and disregard from my spouse because of this sin they are in. I ask for your intervention

to change the present events of our marriage, to end any adultery permanently, and

bring my spouse to you, your Word and a solid bible teaching church. Lord this (other

strange man, woman or evil spirit) person has held tight onto my spouse. I ask you will

release my spouse now from their grasp permanently in Jesus’ name. Lord cause my

spouse to detest and reject this (other strange man, woman or evil spirit) and cause

them to detest and reject my spouse forever in Jesus name. Stir up disagreements and

misunderstandings that will disperse them permanently. Lord, you used the plagues to

pluck Israel out of the grip of Egypt, please use your mighty weapons to bring back my

spouse and restore them to you. Father, I put my complete trust in You, forgive me for

doubting you in any way. Lord I ask that my spouse return to you and me may it be your

best will, deeply committing to us and being the spouse you created them to be for your

glory. Father please save their soul, feed them with your grace and spirit in their quiet

moments. Pour Your Word into them while they are sleeping. Soften their hard heart

and shake them to responsibility and honor. When they attempt to be involved with any

other strange man, woman or evil spirit in any way. Let them hear Your voice and be so

convicted. It is written that “The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yes, the LORD

breaks the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also to skip like a calf… The voice of the

LORD divides the flames of fire.” -Psalms 29:5-7. May your voice breakthrough!

Lord, please take over my spouses’ life, cause them to do the right thing for our family

and marriage. May they no longer live in immorality, disobedience and sin but obey the

Word of God. Lord touch their heart to take the first step of obeying you and leaving this

destructive relationship behind. Cleanse my spouse from the inside out, create in them

a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within them. Guard them from ever going

back to this infidelity. May my spouse have no rest in their sin. May they be so

uncomfortable in their sin and in the affair that they will run to you with all their heart,

soul, mind and strength. Lord cause this other person to respect the covenant of

marriage and not want to harm it in any way. In Genesis chapter 20 when King

Abimelech took Abraham’s wife, Sarah, you reached Abimelech in his dream and

warned him not to destroy the covenant of marriage. Abimelech was so scared about

this that he obeys God’s voice. So, Lord, speak to this other person in the way they

would fear and respect. This affair is not the will of God because God is a respecter of

His Covenant. Thank you for fighting for my spouse. Oh Lord please speak to my spouse in a way I cannot because “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty…The voice of the LORD splits the flames of fire.” (Psalms 29:4/7). Only your voice can change this situation. Please speak to my spouse in a way they cannot refuse or resist to come back to you. Please release them from this mess of adultery and cheating. My desire, Lord, is for them to truly know you and shut out all cheating and unfaithfulness with any other person forever. Let them truly commit to you Lord. I pray, my Father and my God, that no attraction will make them abandon you or our family ever again. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank you for my spouse. Lord, my spouse is one flesh with me. I pray that the time of their foolishness, irresponsibility and cheating will end now permanently. Lord please bring them to repentance, may they serve you God in spirit and truth. Please heal their mind from any bondage. Lord, in your justice please cause a final separation between any strange man, woman or evil spirit and my spouse. Release them from the captivity of

the enemy. Lord set my spouse free to be in covenant with you. I put my hope in you oh

God. May they find nothing any longer satisfying in the things of this world. Cancel any

oath or promise my spouse has made to any strange man, woman or evil spirit. Father, I

ask that the eyes and mind of my spouse be delivered and be released from delusion

and deceit of this wickedness. May this other person’s body, voice, charm, and money

be meaningless to my spouse now. May they fail to work to captivate my spouse. I ask

for your favor to reconcile my spouse fully to you. Soften their heart, grant them the

mind of Christ. Their heart is not too hard for you to change.
