1) “You, even You, are to be feared; and who may stand in Your presence when once You are angry?” -Psalm 76:7
“But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.” -Jeremiah 10:10
You are the One true God, Jesus. From everlasting to everlasting you reign in all the earth. Increase our awe, our fear of you Lord one thousand fold! You have defeated the enemy on the cross, may we never forget despite how dark our circumstances may look..
2) “But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (I am speaking in human terms.)” -Romans 3:5
“Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” -Proverbs 14:29
Lord we have been unrighteous in thought and deed. We have justified our bitterness at times. And when we are hurt we have failed to take accountability for our any wrong we may have done because what others have done or said about us can hurt so bad. Oh Lord forgive us at times when in the face of injustice, we compare our self to others instead of you Lord. Forgive us for any pride…oh Lord, oh how we need you. My loved one has been foolish, has had an unrestrained spirit and hot temper. They have been cruel with their words and actions, it grieves my spirit.
3) “The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until He has performed and until He has accomplished the intent of His heart;
In the latter days you will understand this.” -Jeremiah 30:24
“If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose.I have also created the ravager to destroy; no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” -Isaiah 54:15-17
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you..” -Colossians 3:13
Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. Thank you that we can confess any unjust anger, rage and bitterness and be healed. Thank you for your righteous anger that takes sin seriously and convicts the sinner unto righteousness, how great and good you are Lord.
4) “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” -Ezekiel 36:26
“Remove far from me vanity and lies…” -Proverbs 30:8
“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” -Romans 14:19
Lord, bless me with divine strength so as not to faint or be discouraged in seeking the healing of my loved one who has been bound with deep rooted anger. I ask you would release them now from the blindfolding of the devil. May the light of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ enter them now to consume them indefinitely and break their heart of stone. Father, I plead that You turn them to follow you will all their being. Lord, please make it impossible for them to lie, let their spirit be weak and dull and reluctant to come up with any lie. Let their tongue fail for every attempt to lie. Guard my loved one from any person or spirit sowing discord and enmity in their heart against you God. Protect them from every evil word, accusation, rumor and enchantment that is destructive in Jesus name. Connect them with an honourable and decent Christian as their steadfast friend to help them walk in righteousness and be delivered permanently from this root of rage that has tried to destroy them. Use your chosen vessel to clean them up and strengthen them greater than ever before in their relationship with you Lord and others. Grant them genuine repentance and victory in you. Thank you Jesus for your mercy.
