Restoration Prayers

“ For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets..” -Acts 3:21

"The day will come, says the Lord, when I will do for Israel and Judah all the good things I have promised them.." -Jeremiah 33:14

“But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. A wife must not leave her husband:” -1 Corinthians 7: 10

You are the Restorer who never lies and never fails. You keep your promises. Nobody can resist your voice, Mighty God. I give you my home and marriage to restore to your glory. You created marriage to be unified as a lifelong commitment on this earth.

“Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony..” -Colossians 3:14

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” -Ephesians 4:31-32

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others..” -Colossians 3:13

“ Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.” -Luke 23:34

Forgiveness is only possible because of you. Lord, I am weak. Help me not faint and give up; I ask for your quick victory. Forgive me for any bitterness that I harbor towards my spouse in any way or towards others in any way. Protect me and strengthen me to resist all evil in Jesus’ name. Help me forgive others in the same way you have forgiven me. My spouse and I have failed at loving each other well; forgive us. Bring us back to a place of harmony with you and each other. Lord, vindicate me, help me walk blameless before you and my spouse that you would be glorified.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand..” - Isaiah 41:10 

“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love..” -1 Corinthians 13:13

Thank you, Father, for sustaining me, you are my Hope. There is no hope apart from you. Thank you for guarding me against fear. Thank you for your love that enables me to love others even when it hurts. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer.

And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die..” -Revelation 12:11

“So I spoke this message, just as he told me. Suddenly as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons.” -Ezekiel 37:7

“And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him.” -Ecclessiastes 3:14

Father, I beg your mercy for my spouse. If there is any person, place or thing trying to challenge my relationship with my spouse, cause division, hatred, confusion, or hostility, let it fail. Lord penetrate my spouses’ heart, please draw them to yourself. Save them from the forces of evil that try to keep them apart from you and me. Help us not to interrupt, retaliate or be unreasonable in our communication. Unify us to fight the real enemy together and not each other. Lord protect us from unnecessary conflict or crisis that would cause our relationship to crumble. Anyone or anything that is getting in the way of us being restored to you and each other, Lord please remove it forever. Touch my spouse to be reconciled to you, halt the process of divorce and separation. Frustrate any plans with anyone else that would lead us astray. Lord if there is another person trying to seize my spouse physically or emotionally, please disperse them indefinitely now. Disappoint them so much so that they will have no peace being with my spouse. Lord send your angels to rescue my spouse from any evil relationships. Let your Spirit enforce the vows we made at our marriage and help us fully return to you and each other – in spirit, soul and body. You used the plagues to pluck Israel out of the hand of Egypt, Lord, use your mighty weapons to bring back my spouse and restore our marriage for your glory.

Use everything and everybody to humble us and teach us to preserve our marriage.Yes, Lord, You said in Isaiah 61:7 “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours." Therefore, I ask, I pray you would please perform this Word in my situation. Save my spouse and I from cheating or lying in any way.

“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!.” -John 15:7

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires..” -Hebrews 4:12

"After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.." -Acts 4:31

Lord, flush all evil from our home and marriage. Let anything, hidden or open, known or unknown by me, that is part of this trouble in my home be quenched by the rescuing Spirit of Christ. Deliver of my marriage from the clutches of wickedness. Lord, dismantle and render powerless every arrangement and scheme to scatter and ruin my family. Please guard against any plot, thought, imagination, decision, desire, expectation and plan for the divorce or separation in my marriage. May it not stand. Lord I need your power to destroy the lack of love and commitment in my marriage Lord anything trying to destroy my spouse’s affection, please remove permanently. Please do not allow the enemy to break my home but instead bring your peace and love down from above in Jesus’ name. Father, I put my complete trust in you. Deliver me from my sorrow.

Lord Jesus, I ask, I pray for the hunger, zeal, understanding and increase of your Word and wisdom in our home, in our marriage and with our family. Let what is written in your Word start to happen in our family and what is ours by prophecy have a free course right now. Father, strengthen our craving for your Word. Let us find help, benefit and blessing in every Word of God.  For my spouse, I ask, I pray you will release them from the captivity of the devil. Shine your light Lord in their hearts to stay permanently and break any hardness.  Father, I plead that You turn my spouse to follow You with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. Lord, give them the desire to love Church, be blessed by serving you and be overjoyed over your Kingdom matters in Jesus’ name. Fill my spouse to overflowing with your Holy Spirit and use to spread the saving love of Jesus Christ.  Let Your strong hand block my marriage against attacks of immorality wedged by the enemy using evil desires, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life in Jesus' name, amen.
