Statement of Faith

We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity; there is one true God who exists in three persons. 1 Corinthians 8:6; 2 Corinthians 3:17; 2 Corinthians 3:14; Matthew 28:19

We believe that the scriptures of the Holy Bible are the infallible, inspired Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:105; James 1:22

We believe God offers grace to humans who have gone their own way by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and raised Jesus from the dead. When we confess our sins, put our trust in God, He is faithful and just to forgive us, save us and cleanse us. Hebrews 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:4; 1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9

We believe we must always seek Jesus first, discovering His will and plan for us and our marriages. Acts 17:27; Deuteronomy 4:29; Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 6:33

We believe restoration and reconciliation is available to all God’s children as we are surrendered and submitted to Him. Romans 5:10; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19; Psalm 23:3; Matthew 19:26; Colossians 1:19-22

We believe in the life changing power of prayer! Luke 11:1-4; Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16-17; Numbers 11:2; Numbers 21:7; 2 Chronicles 7:14; John 14:13-18

We believe that God created marriage and divorce was never a part of His divine design for marriage. Since marriage is God’s design it is covered by His saving grace. Mark 10:9; Malachi 2:16; Ecclesiastes 3:14; 19:7-8

We believe that God created marriage as an institution between man and woman and that monogamous marriage is the foundation of the family and our society. Genesis 2:24; Proverbs 18:22; Matthew 19:4-6; 1 Corinthians 7:2-3

We believe that sin is our nature. Addiction, abuse, adultery, and abandonment are tools of the enemy designed to destroy marriage and society but can be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ.
